Infraestructura

Ubicación: F310 | Tercer Piso Edificio F

Da soporte a actividades de investigación y postgrado del Departamento de Informática en Casa Central. Cuenta con un total de 17 Pcs, modelo MAC de 21, 5 pulgadas, 2 estaciones de trabajo con capacidad para 4 estudiantes cada una. Existen 8 cubículos individuales, para profesores visitantes y alumnos del programa. Una oficina de la Secretaría de Investigación y Postgrado también equipada con tecnología MAC, además de su propia impresora multifuncional. Este laboratorio cuenta con mesa de reuniones para 10 personas, 1 impresora multifuncional para uso de los alumnos, 1 pizarra, 1 proyector, 1 telón, área de cafetería y de descanso.

Ubicación: B046 | Primer Piso Edificio B 

Da soporte a actividades de investigación y postgrado del Departamento de Informática en Campus San Joaquín. Cuenta con tres islas de trabajo con capacidad para cuatro estudiantes cada una. Además hay cuatro puestos adicionales para uso con notebooks personales. Se dispone de cafetera, impresora multifuncional, lockers, pizarras, revisteros y área de descanso.

Descripción: Grupo de investigación operando desde el año 2009. Trabaja en la investigación y docencia en temas tales como Astroinformática y Observatorios Virtuales. Integra tecnologías al Atacama Large Millimeter/subMillimeter Array Observatory (ALMA) y mantiene el observatorio virtual Chileno (ChiVO).
